The Benefits & Blessings of Classical Lutheran Pedagogy

August 10, 2024, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

There is much to be learned from the time-tested pedagogy and principles of classical Lutheran education. The aim of this workshop, sponsored by the Indiana District of the LCMS in partnership with the Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education, is to introduce some of those benefits and blessings to Lutheran parents, educators, and administrators. The workshop will identify ways in which any Lutheran school can introduce and implement various aspects of this tried-and-true methodology, and offer a fresh way of thinking about the goals and purposes of education.

Featuring:
Rev. James Gier, Pastor, Ascension Lutheran Church
Julia Habrecht, Headmaster, Our Savior Lutheran School
Nathaniel Pullmann, Headmaster, Redeemer Classical School
