The CCLE’s Course Catalogue is now available for the CCLE’s fall 2026 classes.
The Institute for Classical Lutheran Education exists to equip classical Lutheran educators to hone their craft and further develop their academic knowledge and professional abilities. The CCLE Institute offers three distinct types of educational opportunities to serve a range of learning needs and schedules:
Fifteen-week courses
These robust courses provide a comprehensive and structured learning experience, including regular assignments, formal assessment, and instructor grading, culminating in meaningful feedback and continuing education credit. Classes are capped at 20 students to provide ample opportunities for classroom participation.
Six-week intensives
Intensive courses offer a shorter, focused engagement with a particular topic; these courses may include assigned readings to support rich classroom discussion, but do not include formal assessment or grading. Continuing education credit is awarded. Classes are capped at 20 students to provide ample opportunities for classroom participation.
Webinars
These sessions are typically offered in one to three sessions, provide accessible and concise presentations on targeted subjects, with no required assignments, making them ideal for participants seeking enrichment without ongoing coursework commitments. Class sizes are not limited.
All offerings are delivered as synchronous (live) sessions, with recordings available for later viewing, and each format encourages classroom discussion and active participation.
May God continue to restore classical education to our Lutheran schools and homeschools!
