The 2027 CCLE Student Contests are now open!

Each year, students from across the country have the opportunity to demonstrate the fruits of a classical Lutheran education through the CCLE Student Contests. We are delighted to invite students to participate again this year in three areas:

Penmanship & Calligraphy ContestDeadline: March 1, 2027

Essay Composition ContestDeadline: April 1, 2027

Recitation ContestDeadline: May 1, 2027

Contest winners will receive a cash prize and a certificate of merit and will be recognized by the CCLE at our summer conference and on the CCLE website.

Students attending a CCLE-accredited school are eligible to participate.

Homeschool students and students attending other schools may also participate if a parent holds a CCLE household membership.

Students may enter at a higher age level if desired, and participation opportunities are available for students with special needs.

Teachers, administrators, and parents, we encourage you to begin preparing your students now! These contests provide a wonderful opportunity for students to cultivate and demonstrate excellence in writing, beautiful handwriting, memorization, and oral presentation.

Please carefully review the 2027 contest documents and submission requirements before entering. Entries that do not follow the submission guidelines will be disqualified.

Full contest guidelines, eligibility requirements, and submission information are available here:

We look forward to seeing the excellent work of our students and celebrating their accomplishments at CCLE XXVII in Fort Wayne!
