"Leading with Wisdom: A Classical Lutheran approach to Educational Leadership" is a three-part webinar series with Rev. Brandon Koble. Rev. Brandon Koble was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he attended Concordia Lutheran High School and met his wife, Trisha. Together, they have seven children. Rev. Koble holds two master’s degrees—a Master of Divinity and a Master of Sacred Theology—from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne and is nearing completion of a Doctor of Philosophy degree. He is currently serving as the headmaster of Faith Lutheran School in Plano, TX. Prior to his work in ministry, Pastor Koble served a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through a NROTC scholarship at Purdue University, where he served as Battalion Executive Officer, leading over 200 Marines and Sailors. His military career included assignments as an S-3 officer managing pre-deployment training, leading a detachment in Al Qa’im, Iraq, and serving as aide-de-camp to two Commanding Generals. He received numerous commendations, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and Navy Commendation Medal. Since entering ministry, Rev. Koble has demonstrated a deep commitment to classical Lutheran education and serving his neighbors. He founded Trinity Lutheran Classical High School, where he currently taught a wide range of subjects and served as headmaster. He has also provided pastoral care to those struggling with addiction, served as vice president of A Place of Refuge (a ministry supporting expectant mothers in crisis), and coached youth sports. Rev. Koble's academic achievements include teaching theology at Marquette University, serving as president of the graduate student body, and presenting scholarly papers at over 20 conferences. His work has earned recognition, including an award for a published article from the Concordia Historical Institute. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Lutheranism and the Classics Conference, he is a regular speaker at CCLE conferences, and has interests in classical pedagogy, Christology, post-Reformation theology, patristics, exegetical theology, classical literature, philosophy, and metaphysics.
