Faculty for the Institute for Classical Lutheran Education

Our Fall 2026 Semester will begin in September with courses taught by Jocelyn Benson, Andrew Bloch, Rev. Paul Cain, Rev. Brennick Christiansen, Rev. Steve Kieser, Holly, Rev. Brandon Koble, Marie MacPherson, Katie Schuermann, Kate Thoelke, Jackie Veith, and Gene Veith.

We are offering three different instructional formats:

Fifteen-Week Courses

These robust courses provide a comprehensive and structured learning experience, including regular assignments, formal assessment, instructor grading, and meaningful feedback. Continuing education credit is awarded. Classes are capped at 20 students to encourage active participation and substantive classroom discussion.

Six-Week Intensives

Intensive courses offer a shorter, focused engagement with a particular topic. These courses may include assigned readings to support rich classroom discussion but do not include formal assessment or grading. Continuing education credit is awarded. Classes are capped at 20 students to provide ample opportunities for participation and interaction.

Webinars

Webinars are typically offered in one to three sessions and provide accessible, concise presentations on targeted subjects. With no required assignments, they are ideal for participants seeking enrichment without ongoing coursework commitments. Class sizes are not limited.

Visit our Classes page for faculty bios and more information. Registration opens June 1.
