We are seeking a Jesus loving, passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team as we launch Kindergarten in the Fall of 2026. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development. This role is essential in providing a strong foundation for children as they embark on their educational journey. The Kindergarten Teacher will implement engaging curriculum activities that promote learning and exploration while ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Ideal candidates would be willing to join the worship community of Epiphany Lutheran.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with classical curriculum standards.

• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and orderly classroom.

• Provide individualized support to students, including early intervention strategies for those who may need additional assistance.

• Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student learning and development.

• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

• Incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori principles, to cater to diverse learning styles.

• Organize library services and resources to enhance literacy and foster a love for reading among students.

• Mentor and guide students in social skills, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a private school environment.

• Background in mentoring or tutoring students is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with curriculum development processes and best practices in early childhood education.

• Experience with behavior management techniques tailored for young learners.

• Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children with varying needs.

• Understanding of Classical methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
