The American Republic Needs Classical Christian Education
In this session, I will present the theoretical and historical case for government interest in education in these United States, and the magistrate’s duty to provide for a good, godly education for the citizens. We will then discuss how we could prudentially move back toward better government and better education for the citizens of our polity and for our own people. This will include a discussion of some current topics, especially the variety of programs labeled “school choice”, but also including what could be done about the government schools and why we should not despair of godly rulers.
