CCLE XXVII Call for Presentations

Calling all Lutheran educators, pastors, administrators, homeschoolers, scholars, and all those committed to classical Lutheran education!
The Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education (CCLE) is pleased to announce its 27th annual summer conference, Humanitas Ex Machina: Humanity in an Age of Artificial Intelligence, to be held July 6–9, 2027, at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The CCLE invites presentation proposals for consideration for CCLE XXVII. Speaking opportunities are limited, and proposals must be submitted by December 31, 2026.
While presentations need not align directly with the CCLE XXVII theme, proposals should fall within one or more of the following areas:
Administration
Classical Lutheran homeschooling
Classical pedagogy
Classroom management and student formation
Curriculum and instructional design
Faculty formation and professional development
History of classical Lutheran education
Polemics and apologetics
Quadrivium and math
Recruitment, enrollment, and marketing
School culture and community
School governance
Teaching the classical liberal arts
Technology and artificial intelligence
Theology
Trivium: grammar, logic, and rhetoric
Worship & catechesis...

In keeping with this year’s theme, the conference committee particularly welcomes proposals that explore questions concerning authenticity, truth, human nature, learning, technology, and artificial intelligence from a distinctly Lutheran and classical perspective. Presentations offering practical instruction in classical pedagogy and effective teaching methods are also consistently in high demand.
The conference committee seeks presenters who demonstrate excellent oratory skills, a deep mastery of their subject matter, and the ability to offer meaningful instruction and insight to those engaged in the work of classical Lutheran education.
Proposals must be submitted no later than December 31, 2026. Submissions should include a 200–300 word synopsis of the proposed presentation and a brief biography. Speakers selected to present will receive complimentary conference registration.
