Part-Time Latin and Greek Teacher


Veritas Lutheran School seeks a faithful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic teacher to serve students as a Part-Time Latin and Greek Teacher in a Christ-centered, classical Lutheran learning environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Latin and introductory Greek using a classical Lutheran curriculum with excellence and faithfulness

  • Cultivating a love for language as a foundation for logic, rhetoric, theology, and the liberal arts

  • Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that strengthen grammar, vocabulary, translation, and recitation skills

  • Reinforcing connections between classical languages, Scripture, and the Great Tradition of Western civilization

  • Maintaining a well-ordered, beautiful, and disciplined classroom that reflects classical Christian virtues

  • Assessing student progress through grading, attendance, and report cards

  • Communicating regularly and professionally with parents

  • Supervising students during the school day, including chapel, lunch, recess, and field trips as needed

  • Supporting student growth academically, socially, and spiritually

  • Participating in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development

  • Working toward or maintaining CCLE Classical Lutheran teacher certification


The ideal candidate will model Christian character, delight in the study of classical languages, love working with children, and wholeheartedly support the mission of classical Lutheran education.

Part-Time Art Teacher


Veritas Lutheran School seeks a faithful, creative, and organized teacher to serve students as a Part-Time Art Teacher in a Christ-centered, classical Lutheran learning environment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching art through the lens of classical Christian education, emphasizing beauty, order, craftsmanship, and truth

  • Introducing students to foundational artistic skills such as drawing, composition, color theory, perspective, and art history

  • Integrating the study of great works of Western art and their connection to Christian culture and theology

  • Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that cultivate creativity and discipline

  • Maintaining a well-ordered, beautiful classroom environment that encourages artistic excellence

  • Assessing student progress through projects, participation, and report cards

  • Communicating regularly and professionally with parents

  • Supervising students during the school day, including chapel, lunch, recess, and field trips as needed

  • Supporting student growth academically, socially, and spiritually

  • Participating in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development

  • Working toward or maintaining CCLE Classical Lutheran teacher certification
