St. Paul Lutheran School (Hamel, IL) is seeking a full-time 2nd & 3rd grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The school, accredited with the Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education (CCLE) and serves students from PreK through 8th grade. The teacher will be responsible for delivering the school’s curriculum in all core subjects to a multi-grade classroom full of eager students. The role requires maintaining an organized and welcoming classroom all while supporting the school’s mission to meet classical and Lutheran education standards.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (a degree in Classical Education or teaching is preferred) and be a member in good standing of a Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) congregation. Previous experience teaching primary grades is preferred, along with a strong willingness to grow in the Lutheran classical education model.
