Position: Director of Admissions (Part-Time)
Memorial Lutheran School seeks a faithful, welcoming, and detail-oriented professional to serve as our Director of Admissions in a Christ-centered, classical Lutheran learning environment.
This position is responsible for shepherding prospective families through the entire enrollment journey—from initial inquiry to new student onboarding—while serving as the primary ambassador of our school's mission to the wider Houston community.
Responsibilities include:
Serving as the primary point of contact for all prospective families, managing inquiries via phone, email, and web forms with warmth and professionalism
Scheduling and conducting campus tours for prospective families (Infant through Pre-K) and coordinating tours with the Headmaster for grades K–12
Managing the full admissions cycle: applications, assessments, committee review, and enrollment decisions
Building and maintaining relationships with local preschools, churches, and community organizations as feeder sources for the school
Representing the school at community events, homeschool fairs, and church presentations
Managing the enrollment and re-enrollment process within the Student Information System (FACTS/RenWeb), including year-end rollover
Generating regular enrollment reports for the Headmaster and School Board
Hosting New Family Orientation and coordinating with the PTL to welcome new families into the school community
Attending and contributing to staff and faculty meetings
Maintaining a positive, supportive, and confidential working environment that reflects Christian virtues
Qualifications:
At least three years of office work experience, preferably within a private or Christian school setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Student Information Systems (FACTS/RenWeb preferred)
A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a warm, team-oriented attitude
A deep commitment to the mission of classical Lutheran education and a willingness to support the school's vision

Employment Type: Part-Time, Salaried (20 hours per week)
