The mission of Immanuel Lutheran School is to nurture the minds, hearts, and bodies of students in grades Jr. Kindergarten through Eight with classical education and Lutheran Catechesis.

As a mission of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, ILS has been serving families from Northern Virginia and throughout the DC Metro region through private, Christian education for over 70 years. ILS offers a strong liberal arts curriculum, Christian character formation, and a rich academic environment that encourages subject mastery and inspires a genuine love of learning.
