CCLE XXIII Summer Conference: Call for Presentations

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Calling all Lutheran educators, pastors, administrators, and home educators! The CCLE is planning our annual summer conference. CCLE XXIII will be held at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. The dates for the conference are July 18-21, 2023.

Five hundred years ago, in 1523, Luther wrote, “Temporal Authority: To What Extent It Can Be Obeyed” in which he articulated the two-kingdoms doctrine. In light of this important anniversary, the conference theme this year is “Learning in the Two Kingdoms.”

In addition to three plenary sessions, the annual conference includes sectional presentations. The CCLE XXIII conference committee invites paper/presentation proposals for consideration. Spaces for papers/presentations are limited. Presentations should relate to, or align with, the theme and should fit under one or more of the following headings:

  •     Administration
  •     Classroom management
  •     Culture
  •     Curriculum
  •     Beauty and aesthetics of a classical Lutheran school
  •     Classical pedagogy
  •     Classical Lutheran homeschooling
  •     Higher education
  •     Lutheran theology in classical Lutheran education

Please submit paper/presentation topics to Anna Martin at executive.director@ccle.org by January 1, 2023. Conference registration will open in March.

In Christ,
