Rev. Aaron Schultz
Rev. Aaron Schultz is the Associate Pastor and Headmaster of Advent Lutheran Church and School in Zionsville, Indiana. He has a long history in Lutheran education, starting with his small hometown K-8 Lutheran school, Zion Lutheran, in Terra Bella, CA. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (GO BIG RED) and graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. He took his first teaching job at St. Paul Lutheran School in New Orleans, where he also met his lovely wife, Katie. After 3 years, they moved to Denver, CO where he served as principal/teacher at Redeemer Lutheran School. Then the Schultz family ended up in Alexandria, VA, where they were introduced to classical Lutheran education at Immanuel Lutheran. They spent 5 years there before moving to Fort Wayne so Aaron could pursue an M.Div at CTSFW. He has been at Advent since graduating from CTSFW in 2022. He and his wife have 4 boys, and they enjoy spending time together as a family.

The Five Pillars of Being a Lutheran School
How do we ensure that our schools remain steadfastly Lutheran? Stick to these five pillars: Lutheran teachers, daily Matins, teaching Lutheran theology, a Lutheran headmaster, and (mostly) Lutheran students.
