Dr. Gene Veith
Gene Edward Veith is a retired English professor and college administrator, most recently at Patrick Henry College and Concordia University Wisconsin. He has written or edited 30 books, including The Spirituality of the Cross, God at Work, and Embracing Your Lutheran Identity. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. He and his wife live in St. Louis.

Misconceptions about the Doctrine of the Two Kingdoms
Lutherans have a profound, practical theology about the relationship between God's temporal and His eternal kingdoms. But, historically, this teaching has been greatly misunderstood in many different ways. Clarifying this doctrine can show Christians how they can carry out their vocation of citizenship without compromising their faith.
