Faith Lutheran High School in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time high school science teacher, for the 2010-2011 school year. Faith currently has students from 3 years old through grade 10. We will be adding grade 11 in 2010-2011 and grade 12 in 2011-2012. We are seeking a teacher for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and other high school science courses. We intend to offer these courses at regular, honors/Pre-A.P., and A.P. levels.
We use the classical model to teach a classical curriculum, including Latin, Rhetoric, Logic, and Western Civilization with a heavy emphasis on reading, writing, public speaking, and reading primary sources. In addition, our teachers are sometimes asked to teach courses outside of their area of specialization and should be well-rounded.

He received a BFA from the U. of Kansas, graduating with Highest Distinction, and attended Atelier Lack School of Fine Art. For the past twenty years, he has worked in the field of animation, creating layouts and backgrounds for Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida and Sullivan Bluth Studios Dublin, Ireland. He has created artwork for Walt Disney Imagineering, painted commissioned portraits, and gallery art. He is currently working as a concept artist in Orlando, FL.
