Multum non Multa
What does this mean?

“Much, not Many.”
“Much, not Many Things.”
“Much, not [merely] Many Things.”
“Much [of all that could be taught], not [merely] Many Things [for the sake of teaching many things].”

“Depth, not Breadth”

A variant, “Non Multa Sed Multum” could be translated “Not many things, but much.”

The origin of this conference title is a sentence from Pliny the Younger:
Aiunt enim multum legendum esse, non multa. (Epistulae 9.15)
“In fact they say that one should read much, not many things.”
